Morgan is a fantastic teacher. Their instruction is not only effective, but also interesting for vocal students! I came in looking for as much improvement in all areas of my voice as possible in a month timespan to prepare for the role of Jean Valjean in my schools’ production of Les Misérables. During that time, Morgan prepared me beyond my expectations. They worked all areas of my voice during lessons while also working on specific moments in the show. Additionally, when Morgan suggests certain tricks/methods They provide me with insightful explanations as to why they are successful. They have an impressive understanding of the voice, inside and out. Outside of lessons, I notice significant improvement through the exercises that Morgan gives to me. When they are practiced regularly, they noticeably improve my voice over time. Morgan ensures a well-rounded, healthy approach to vocal lessons and truly exudes passion in their work!

About My Teaching:

An integral part in my own musical journey was learning songs I liked while sitting at the piano. I found the chords online and sang my way through until I learned the song. It’s in this spirit of play and experimentation that I find the most rewarding musical work. I aim to get students singing the music they love, whatever genre or style that may be.

A lesson starts with some vocalizing. Usually simple scales, up and down. We’ll talk about your vocal goals, singers you admire, what you’ve been listening to lately. Although a piano is useful to have, we don’t need one to make music. I am based in the Boston area, and teach out of a local practice space, in your home, or online.

I’m looking forward to making music with you!
